Corporate Counsel (Contract - 3 Months)

Hybrid Preferred | CA Bar Required

Looking for a hands-on, fast-moving in-house opportunity? This 3-month contract role is ideal for an early-career attorney who wants to own commercial contracts, partner with business teams, and make an immediate impact.

Role Snapshot

  • Duration: 3 months
  • Schedule: Full-time (8-hour day, start between 8-9 AM)
  • Pay: ~$60-$80/hour (flexible DOE)
  • Work setup: Hybrid preferred (2-3 days onsite); remote considered

What You'll Do

  • Draft, review, and revise commercial agreements (NDAs, vendor, services, etc.)
  • Manage day-to-day contract flow and keep deals moving
  • Escalate complex matters for final review/approval
  • Partner with internal teams to provide practical legal guidance
  • Help improve contract templates and processes

Top Requirements

? 1-5 years of commercial contracts experience (corporate, entertainment, or similar)
? Active California Bar
? Strong communication + ability to work cross-functionally

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to government-adjacent agreements (e.g., FAR/DFAR)
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment
